With the world changing it was clear that our operation and the way we work had to change.
The team at Integrum implemented a number of changes not only to remain operational but to safeguard our staff and customers.
Our main office in Sutton, Surrey has been closed with our admin teams now working from home to continue to provide backend support to our customers. Our apprentices have been Furloughed to allow for correct social distancing. We are really looking forward to welcoming them back soon.
In terms of work, we have made the decision to stop all new INTERNAL domestic pest control unless it is a Environmental Health Emergency and we have also suspended our Rope access bird proofing works due to social distancing.
As you may have seen in the press we have seen a significant increase in pest activity as a direct result of Covid-19 (Metro Article). With so many premises closed and not being regularly checked along with stock piling has contributed to the boom in pest activity.
As a result of this our teams have been focusing heavily on our key contracts, from aviation and cargo through to broadcasting and education customers we have increased our service visits to make sure their operation continues to function and remains pest free.
Our Specialist Services division has also been extremely busy during this time competing Deep cleans and VIRCUIDE ULV / FOGGING treatments to a large number of our clients.
Back in February Integrum sourced and obtained the relevant chemicals for use and have been able to maintain this supply on top of our normal disinfection services. Jamie has also been busy sourcing and meeting with suppliers from across the globe ensuring we have the correct application equipment and PPE.
Our solar panel proofing team continues to provide this service as normal except where rope access is required due to social distancing in the event of a rescue being required.
This is a challenging time for everybody both at home and with work. We will continue to support our customers through this unprecedented time.
