A large number of Raven Housing Trust properties have solar panels installed. Unfortunately, pigeons have a habit of nesting under solar panels resulting in a build-up of nesting materials, eggs, and guano which can pose a significant risk to health and safety if left unaddressed. Integrum’s experienced team sanitise the area, remove bulk fouling and nesting material before installing high-quality 25mm galvanised steel mesh around the sides of the solar panels.

Brunel University was experiencing pigeon issues with birds sitting and fouling on the window ledges. Pigeon guano (droppings) can be very dangerous. Ornithosis, Listeria, E-coli and other nasty pathogens can be passed through droppings and by the birds themselves. A non-intrusive deterrent measure was required, so Integrum opted to install six runs of pin and wire on each ledge using high strength adhesive base mounts. Integrum gained access using an 18m articulated boom lift, operated by one of our IPAF trained bird specialists.
